  • Your novel is trash if it has harem

Simply put .. Most harems like 95% are trash .. and you know it .. the last 5% is an exception... And I've read many novels where there's no harem tag. Instead there's romance tag then I expect to see a good Romance story but no even there ... And another thing is that .. the majority of harem today is really trash no matter how much you refuse .. I mean every girl in a harem story falls in love with that stupid mc cuz of some stupid ass reason and all the girls talk about SHARING a single boy ...

    Yep, novels are ruined by harems. Just sexism, wish fullfilment and greed. If only western authors made their books longer, I would read more of those instead.

        I have yet to not get a skeezy vibe from harem novels. Definitely wish fulfillment and fan service. That's one of the aspects of the Wheel of Time series that I absolutely hated...

          Misguided_Rooster I agree with you thou even my novel has harem in it but I don't take harem that way, I just want to show how many people admire the FL and yeah my novel doesn't have any 16 or 18+ scene

              Trash to some is masterpiece to others.
              It's not like authors don't understand what they're writing, it's because they do that they write them. It is the way they make a living. Would you gamble and write something that might or might not hit or would you write something you're sure about? In the end, it is all business.

                if every harem novel you read is trash novel then that means you are either
                A:close minded
                B:you read only trash novels they were trash and you blamed it on harem
                solution read some good novels

                                    Dark_Scholars How do you know what's tailor-made for me? You don't. Harem isn't my taste at all. CCG would've been an exception. You should know that there are exceptions to most things. And 'don't you dare' what? Makes no sense. I suggest you think before you act/talk, else you you will easily make enemies for being a D, which you are.
