Harem, solely because of how bad it usually is with harem members all being one dimensional and forgotten as the plot advances. Another commom theme is having the characters like the MC just to be ignored.

The only exception of a good harem novel I can think of is AnimeCon Harem.

I hate romance stories that contains rape. Even if the male lead change afterwards, its still a no for me. There are few novels that doesn't contain rape issues that caught my interest like "My villainous wife" and lol " Villains wife".

Novels with 'robotic/emotionless' MCs, no matter the genre. MCs acting like they were mere videogame dummies controlled by someone else, not touched by what happens around him/her.
It's even worse when horror is involved, it totally breaks the mood. I can't empathize with blasé characters.
When I stumble upon it, I always think the author is afraid of writing about emotions in general (and thus, unable to make believable characters) or refuses to acknowledge that emotions would make the character act differently and perhaps spoils its 'planned plot'.
Also, I don't think a 'badass' character is necessarily someone who never fears.
Some well-praised novels here were unbearable to me because of this issue.

Harem other then a few where it is not the focus or somewhat believable due to the novel setting every harem novel I have read as been at the cost of the stories quality usually so forced as well that every time a harem part comes it just kills the chapter. Also for example the MC clearly is already in love with someone else, but they force a harem to happen even though he is perfectly happy having just one girl. Seriously one of the novels I read wasn't tagged as a harem was a masterpiece at first, but 200 chapters in the harem cliches started popping up bringing the story quality down so much what makes it worse is that the MC spent the whole novel clearly in love with someone already having done amazing emotional scenes that made you attached to the relationship, but he flirts with every single girl despite having no feelings for them. The story also had almost zero romance and what it does have is so force at times that you can tell it is just done for the sake of it rather then the story.

Seriously the harem genre is one that is made to disappoint and does not go well with other genres and serious stories.

Tomoyuki of course not. Because I like Yuri and GL. 🥰
But I also like the non BL/GL.
      And I like Harem too.
So.... if its Yuri/GL and its Harem too....
Thats a win win solution for me. 😍
