N0xiety How did you get 55-60 spirit stones per day? Please share. Because all I can ever get spirit stones from is 5 from check-in, 5 from multiplier, 5 from energy stone vote, 5 from power stone vote, and maybe even 5 from watching videos.
If you have a way to get 30-35 extra free spirit stones per day, please share.
Where is a staff member? All I've seen them do is pin the message.

The reason why the monthly subscription was scrapped (taken firsthand from Piokilek, a contracted author):
"First of all, the Subscription System was removed cause it didn't work at all. Almost all authors lost revenue in those two months by at least 50%. Even if webnovel gets more money this way, you think they will keep the system that takes away 50% of authors revenue? It was basically, "the more chaps you have, the more you earn." Not, "The better your story, the more you earn." The system was just bad and it hurt authors so it had to be removed. I personally lost half of my money so obviously, I voted against it. There is nothing to hide in this matter."
So yeah, good for you readers, but it screws writers over, which was why Webnovel scrapped it.

Tomoyuki To sum it up, a single Fast Pass allows you to unlock a chapter for free (so it's the equivalent of 8 to 13 coins). It lasts for one week, so make sure you use it. You can get 3 Fast Pass if you introduce a friend. As of right now, you can receive up to 3 Fast Pass a day by doing your usual daily missions (checking in, voting with power stone, voting for energy stone) on the PC site. If you prefer the coins, use the app to check in and vote, and you'll receive 15 power stones (20 if you include multiplier rewards). It depends on what you want.
Whether you think this system is balls or not is none of my concern. I already said I don't know if the new system is good or bad. I was merely responding to some guy who scoffed at me when I said there will be tasks that you can do to get fast pass. He claimed that no such tasks exist and scoffed at me by calling them mythical even though I already provided concrete examples of existing tasks that do give you fast pass. I'm not sure what he's trying to do, but come on, I just literally gave you an explanation, and you still find something to complain about, and on something that is not true. Really? In other words, all I'm saying is, fact-check, clarify, and find out for sure before you start whining.
The minimum cost of a chapter should be 5 spirit stones, because Inkstone doesn't allow you to publish a premium chapter that's less than 1,000 words, and the minimum 1,000 words cost 5 spirit stones at least. Each chapter costs 1 coin/spirit stone for every 200 words and part thereof. 300 word chapters cannot be published as premium, and they would only cost 2 spirit stones at most, so I have no idea how you're doing your math.
Also, that has got to be a super-entitled statement I have ever heard. You get these spirit stones for free, and it's not enough. Now you want to use these free spirit stones for discounted novels or events and whine when you can't. Seriously? You're complaining that you can't use what you got for free for something that is discounted? That's like me taking a rationing coupon that I received from welfare, and then complaining to the supermarket that I can't use it to purchase the stuff that's on a discount sale. What in the world...? You know what the purpose of a discount is for, right? You know, for people to pay less and save money...and you're complaining that you can't use the coins you get for free for discounted stuff? By the way, you can't use Free Passes on stories that are on events. So that's a pretty moot point.
Additionally, Qidian has nothing to do with writers or translators' update schedules, as far as I know of. There is absolutely nothing Qidian can do if a writer or translator goes MIA. What, you want them to fire them or something? Take away their contract? If a writer chooses to drop his story out of nowhere, that's his fault and his responsibility. It's useless to blame Qidian. They don't micromanage our lives and supervise us to make sure we write. If your story is dropped, you should approach the writers or the translators directly (though that's probably difficult unless you added them on Discord). They are the ones who know best, not Qidian.
Also, the reason why Pursuing Immorality got dropped is because the translation team went MIA. Whereas the stories with 900 chapters translated have dedicated teams who are committed to seeing their project through until the very end. You call them shitty and don't like them, but you have no right to tell translation teams what to translate and what not to translate. What gets translated, what gets dropped, etc. are all down to the individual translation teams responsible for those projects. Not Qidian.

Nope never!!! Not any coin, fast pass, nothing change from I change from scroll to page...I use to read more than 900 minutes but now kinda busy to run everywhere for Christmas gif...I only read o.o 70 minutes..

1. That's a bug. It should not be locked. I unlocked several chapters with Fast Pass yesterday and day before yesterday, and none of them are locked. You'll have to contact an admin on Discord or something and ask them for help.

I honestly don't get the fuss of "temporary" or "they expire!" They are free. Use them before the expiry date then, what's so difficult about that? 1) the issue is that Exinaus claimed there were no tasks to earn free passes, even though I literally gave examples of how you can earn free passes. That was what I debunked. If you have no idea what I was debunking, then you might probably want to clarify instead of jumping in, quoting me out of context and attacking me for no reason.
2) Uh, no? I don't see any purchase option for fast pass. I see no system or option to trade coins for fast pass. Please show me how to do that, and maybe tell me how many coins one fast pass costs. Or how much in USD.
3) I don't know, and I don't care. I never commented on whether the system will be good or bad. I only explained to people how to use the new system, what the differences are, and how you can best maximize the use of fast pass. For now it seems more worthwhile to use fast pass for chapters that cost more spirit stones than those that cost less. I was pointing out the obvious.

this is the problem, that it was free before and now it is not, now u only get a part free and even that is getting smaller example - before spirit stones and after spirit stones.
The anology would be that breathing was free and the goverment decided you need to pay to breath from now on but the first 100 breaths are free soo should you be happy because you have 100 free breaths?
I honestly gave up long ago on Quidian and i come back just for my library, ( i use Quidian as my notebook of Light novels) because even before this fast pass fiasco i was not happy with theyr service, other sites are better and actualy free, but it makes me cringe when i see yet another atempt at tryng to milk people for some content which could be found free and if the person wants to donate to the author he can do it directly without this Quidian middleman or whatever it is.
This is of course excluding the "Original" authros on the site, this being the only place they can post or so i have read in the contract, of course you can still find some of the more popular ones on other sites idk how they got there...
